Inclement weather didn’t stop families enjoying a “brilliant weekend” at the 2020 Luddenham Show.

Show society president Wayne Willmington said he’d had plenty of good feedback about the weekend.

“It was a great show,” he said.

“The weather wasn’t as kind as it could have been, and the numbers were down a little bit, but everybody I’ve spoken to said it was a brilliant weekend.

“We had so many people that loved the fireworks, and the guys on the motorbikes (FMX KAOS) were also a big hit.

“The other thing that went really well was our Elvis impersonator on Saturday night - that had a really great feel.”

Mr Willmington said the show society was already in planning for next year’s show.

“We had a couple of people come with suggestions, and that stuff is taken on board straight away,” he said.

“The dates are already carved in stone, and we’re working on it now.

“A big thankyou to everybody involved this year, not only the spectators, but also the exhibitors and sponsors to make sure the country show can keep running.”
