Kingswood: Two men threatened with a firearm during fight

Police are searching for two men after a fight in Kingswood on Sunday afternoon.

Nepean Police are investigating after two men were assaulted and threatened with a firearm in Kingswood.

Police said two men were visiting a friend at a unit complex on Park Ave, Kingswood, at about 4pm on Sunday when they heard yelling outside.

The men, aged 46 and 45, went to check and saw two men fighting.

When the 46-year-old man approached them, one of the men struck him in the head with a metal pole.

The 45-year-old man was also assaulted when he attempted to intervene.

During the assault, the second man produced a firearm and threatened the two friends.

The 45-year-old man managed to pull his friend away and entered a nearby unit.

The 46-year-old man was taken to Nepean Hospital with head and leg injuries, and the 45-year-old man refused medical treatment.

Police are now hunting for the two men involved in the assault.

One man is described as caucasian, about 175cm tall, aged in his 30s or 40s, with a thin build and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured T-shirt and pants.

The second man is described as caucasian, about 185cm tall, aged in his 40s or 50s, with a thin build and grey hair.

Any witnesses who may have seen the incident, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the area, is urged to come forward.
