Conrad Niccol facing historical child-sex charges

An elderly man from Sydney’s north will stand trial over allegations he indecently assaulted two teenagers almost 20 years ago.

An elderly man will stand trial in the NSW District Court later this year over allegations he sexually assaulted two teenage girls almost 20 years ago.

Conrad Niccol, 63, of Hornsby, faces a string of child-sex charges over the complaints in the late 90s and early 2000s.

He is charged with six counts of aggravated indecent assault on a victim under the age of 16 and two counts of having sexual intercourse with a person between 10 and 16.

Five other charges have been withdrawn by the DPP – Mr Niccol has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Conrad Niccol allegedly indecently assaulted two teenage girls over 20 years ago.

According to court documents, Mr Niccol allegedly rubbed the genitals of one of his victims as well as other acts too graohic to be repeated.

He then allegedly spooned with one of his victims on a futon before removing her pants and having intercourse with her.

Court documents also allege Mr Niccol was caught looking at one of his victims in the shower.

His alleged offending occurred in Arcadia, Galston, and Marayong.

Mr Niccol appeared in person at Penrith Local Court on Friday before Magistrate Brian van Zuylen.

Conrad Niccol will face trial in Penrith District Court later this year.

He required a walker while entering and exiting the courtroom, and was unable to stand while he was addressed by Magistrate van Zuylen.

Magistrate van Zuylen committed Mr Niccol for trial in the District Court.

He will appear in Penrith District Court on April 30 for arraignment.
