A man has been stabbed in Penrith.
Emergency services were called to an address on Station St just after 6pm last night, to find a 45 year old man suffering stab wounds to his chest and shoulder. It is believed the man was stabbed with a glass bottle. The victim was taken to Westmead Hospital and is believed to have undergone surgery.
A 43 year old Kingswood man was arrested at the scene and taken to Penrith police station. He was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and will face Penrith court today, after being refused bail.
