A man in his 40s has been injured after he came off his Harley Davidson on the Great Western Highway, Emu Plains.

A man in his 40s has been injured in a motorcycle accident on the Great Western Highway in Emu Plains.
Emergency services responded to the scene near the 7-Eleven on the corner of Lamrock St just after 4pm to reports a man had come off his motorcycle after a collision with a car.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman told the Press the man motorcycle rider suffered chest and facial injuries, as well as cuts to his arms and legs, in the accident.
A CareFlight Helicopter and NSW Police also responded to the scene.
An eyewitness said the man was loaded into a road ambulance after some treatment, and said there was little visible damage to the bike or any car nearby.
Traffic was at a standstill in both directions on the Great Western Highway for a time after the accident.
