Emergency services were called to Auburn Railway Station just after 3pm where they assisted and treated the woman under the train before moving her to safety.

“There are no life threatening injuries to report,” NSW Police Spokeswoman said.

“It appears that a woman has fallen between the gap while boarding the train.”

Westbound trains have been delayed significantly but are returning to normal.

The train was stationary at the time of the incident.

A Transport Management Centre spokeswoman said trains in both directions, the T1 western line and T2 inner west and south lines were affected.

The spokeswoman said it was unknown as to how long delays would occur so passengers should allow additional travel time and check for announcemens and indicator boards.
