Wentworthville: Police hunt after stolen Range Rover hits multiple cars
Police are hunting for the occupants of a stolen four-wheel drive that caused a multi-vehicle crash and ploughed into a childcare centre fence in Sydney’s west.

One person was hurt and a police hunt is under way after a stolen Range Rover carved a trail of carnage that ended with it crashing into a childcare centre fence at Wentworthville.
Dog Unit officers were conducting proactive patrols of the Wentworthville area just before 5am when they attempted to stop a white Range Rover on Wentworth Ave.
A pursuit was begun when the vehicle failed to stop.
The Range Rover crashed into a vehicle on Dunmore St, and again failed to stop. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The Range Rover then struck multiple unoccupied parked cars, and a trailer - causing one vehicle to hit a front fence of Learning Through Play Pre-School and Long Day Care Centre.
A group of people got out of the Range Rover and ran away and despite a search by Parramatta police, they escaped.
Cumberland police have established a crime scene.
Initial inquiries reveal the Range Rover was stolen from a home in Granville last night.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage from surrounding areas to contact Granville police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
