A man accused of possessing drugs was arrested after a Strike Force Raptor raid of his western Sydney home. Watch footage of the search.

Strike Force Raptor arrest at Northmead

A man accused of drug possession and arrested as part of a squad targeting illicit activities and crime rings has been named as Shaylin Zreika.

Strike Force Raptor arrested Mr Zreika, 29, at a home in Beamish Rd on March 17 during a morning raid.

During the search, officers seized cannabis and cannabis oil and Mr Zreika was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.

Police allegedly found a set of knuckle dusters.

Documents tendered to Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday allege Mr Zreika possessed 12g of cannabis leaf and a gram of cannabis oil.

At court Mr Zreika was not required to attend but his lawyer Chaddy Mardini requested an adjournment to May 19.
