Former NSW Police Senior Constable Kristi Phillipson charged with drug, domestic violence offences

A former policewoman has fronted court after being charged with a string of domestic violence offences over more than a year. She allegedly had cannabis on her when she was arrested.

What happens when you are charged with a crime?

Former Senior Constable Kristi Phillipson has been charged following an investigation into alleged domestic violence offences.

Between May 2021 and July 2022, North-West Metropolitan Region officers began an investigation into reports of alleged domestic violence-related offences.

After extensive inquiries, 45-year-old Ms Phillipson was arrested at Toongabbie on Friday, September 2, when she was attached to a specialist command.

She was charged with three counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, two counts of contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO, two counts of use postal/similar service to menace/harass/be offensive and attempt to breach prohibition/restriction in domestic AVO.

Court documents reveal Ms Phillipson was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug on September 2 after allegedly having 0.4g of cannabis leaf.

She was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court on September 3.

On Tuesday, she appeared at Parramatta Local Court where the matter was adjourned to October 6 when it will go before the Director of Public Prosecutions.

NSW Police confirmed Ms Phillipson handed in her resignation in September.
