Everyone who saw Samah Baker during the day on January 3 said she had never been happier.

Her mum had given the 30-year-old her daily phone call at 5pm, a few minutes before she stepped into St Michael’s Catholic Church in Belfield for a night service.

The Parramatta woman left the church at 7pm and made her way back home to Early St. She has not been seen from since.

It was not out of the ordinary for her mum to call her everyday, to speak with her and sister Elena Baker said her big sister was content and if she has gone on her own accord that she would make contact.

“She would do literally everything with her phone. It’s because her phone was flat that we started to get really worried.”

Elena, 16, said it is her mum that is being hit the hardest by the disappearance.

“There are no answers and it’s hurting her,” Elena said.

“No matter what Samah is going through we want her to know we love her more than anyone or anything.”

Ms Baker went missing from her home in Early St at about 1.30am on Friday, January 4.

“Paramatta police have been notified and if you know absolutely any detail please report to them immediately,” Elena said.

Samah Baker was last seen on Early St in Parramatta, close to the Great Western Highway.

“The last time we spoke she sounded normal and very happy. And everyone who we’ve asked who spoke to her on the day said she sounded very happy. It doesn’t make any sense.”

Her family state that the disappearance is out of character, and hold concerns for her welfare.

Police state she made a phone call to a friend at around 3am while still at home on Early St, but no further information or details have been provided.

Ms Baker is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 160cm tall, with black hair and green eyes. She has a tattoo of the word “hope” on her left wrist.
