Police investigate after Merrylands man robbed at gunpoint
A man has given a detailed description of two robbers who held him at gunpoint and stole his phone and wallet.

Police are searching for two people who were involved in a mugging in Sydney’s west on Sunday.
The man and woman were seen in a dark Holden sedan on Coolibah St, behind the Coolibah Hotel in Merrylands West, when, at 7.30pm they approached a 49-year-old man.
At the time the 49-year-old was walking on the side of the road on Coolibah St using his mobile phone.
The car slowly followed the man before stopping suddenly. The driver, a man in his 30s, then grabbed the man by his shirt collar and according to police, punched the man in the chest. He then allegedly pulled a handgun from the waistband of his pants demanding the phone and wallet.
After stealing the items the man got back in the car and drove away.
The man is described as being about 170cm tall with a dark complexion, a heavy build, and aged in his 30s. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark hooded jumper with dark pants and a cap.
The woman in the passenger seat is described as having olive complexion and wearing heavy make-up. She appeared to be aged in her 30s.
