Paul Makedonas pleads guilty after causing fracas at El Sweetie Granville
Most customers who frequent dessert cafes are too distracted by the sweet treats but one man decided to hurl around furniture at a western Sydney eatery, a court has heard.

The man who decided to hurl around furniture at a popular dessert cafe in western Sydney has pleaded guilty after the fracas.
Paul Makedonas, 37, walked into the popular El Sweetie in South St Granville and threw furniture because he “felt like it”, also abusing staff before a citizens’ arrest was made.
Cops were called to the cafe on June 11 about 3.30pm and found Makedonas being restrained on the footpath outside the business where several patrons witnessed the incident.
Last week Parramatta Local Court heard Makedonas told staff: “F--k you” and “I’ll f--k you up” before he told police he up-ended the furniture because “I felt like it”.
At court this week, he pleaded guilty to behaving in offensive manner in/near public place/school and hindering or resisting police officer in the execution of duty.
Charges of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm were withdrawn.
Makedonas, who remains in custody, will be sentenced on July 5.
