Police have swarmed an area near Parramatta train station after reports of a disturbance caused by a teenager.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said officers were called to Wentworth St, near Parramatta train station, about 3.52pm on Monday to reports of a 14-year-old boy causing a disturbance in the area.
She said the boy had allegedly damaged property and took a parcel from a delivery driver.
Police spoke to the boy and he was taken to Parramatta police station and then to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for further assessment.
The spokeswoman said inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A local said eight police cars were seen near the carpark and Circa Espresso cafe.
