Lidcombe: Alleged drunk driver crashes into two parked cars

A drunk driver has been arrested after allegedly crashing into two parked cars in Lidcombe.

A drunk driver has been arrested after allegedly crashing into two parked cars in Lidcombe.

The 50-year-old man was driving his Toyota Camry along Bachell Ave about 10pm on Monday when he allegedly crashed into two parked cars.

Police will allege he continued driving and stopped on nearby Parramatta Rd, where officers from Auburn police spoke with him. He failed a roadside breath test and was arrested.

He was taken to Auburn police station where he returned a breath analysis of 0.160.

He has been charged with high-range drink driving and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday, April 11.

His licence has been suspended.
