The rich flavours of aioli, charcoal chicken and tabouleh are coming to Greystanes Shopping Centre where Hawa will expand its Lebanese eatery while fried but “not oily’’ chicken is on the menu at Broaster on the Great Western Highway.

The rotisseries are expected to start turning at Broaster, on the Great Western Highway and Ettalong Rd, from next month when the US chain expand its Sydney footprint.

“There’s a big demand for this,’’ Broaster distributor Salah Dib said.

“Broaster chicken is a pressure-cooked chicken. The actual chicken, although it’s pressure-cooked, which means it’s fried and fully dropped in oil, the end product comes out not like it’s oily at all.

“It comes out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and that’s what makes it different from other fried chicken.’’

The shop’s most popular items are the burgers and chicken tenders.

“We make our burgers with a natural tender and it’s a natural meat, it’s not processed and cooked fresh and straight to the customer,’’ Mr Dib said.

“When you eat it, it’s like you’re cooking at home.’’

Greystanes will join other shops operate at venues including Church St, Parramatta, Wetherill Park and St Marys.

“The exposure on the Great Western Highway is very good exposure and it’s within the distance that would require between existing shops and it’s easier for customers to buy the chicken within their local areas’’ Mr Dib said.

At Merrylands Rd, Hawa will open at Greystanes Shopping Centre after the lockdown but a date has not been confirmed.

The first Hawa opened up the road after its arch rival El Jannah at South St Granville and has since branched out at Seven Hills.

Hawa will be inside part of the small Merrylands Rd shopping mall.
