A man has faced court after allegedly stealing $30,000 worth of jewellery from a home in Sydney’s northwest earlier this month.
Budy Jabbouri, 37, from Granville, was refused bail at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday after being arrested in relation to jewellery being stolen from a Kellyville home worth $30,000.
Officers attached to The Hills proactive team executed a search warrant on Monday at a house on Seventh St in Granville.
The 37-year-old man was arrested at the Granville address and has been charged with
break, enter and steal.
The warrant was part of an investigation into a break-in at a home on Samantha Riley Dr in Kellyville during the morning of July 8.
The jewellery has yet to be recovered and police are continuing their investigations.
Mr Jabbouri did not enter a plea to the charge against him on Tuesday and his matter will be mentioned again in court next week.
He is also facing a charge of steal from person, relating to a separate incident in May.
Some of the jewellery which was stolen from the home in Kellyville included wedding and engagement rings, bracelets and necklaces.
