David Collisson, Lennox Street: Man charged after car ploughs into house
A driver, whose car ploughed into the front of a brick house in western Sydney, has been charged after one of his passengers suffered suspected back injuries.

Driver David Collisson — whose car dramatically flipped and ploughed into a brick house in Parramatta — has been charged after one of his passengers suffered suspected spinal injuries in the shocking crash.
The 50-year-old, of Parramatta, was travelling south with two passengers at Marsden St just before 5pm on Tuesday when the Holden Commodore hit the kerb as it travelled through a roundabout at Glebe St.
The car then slide sidewards towards a house in Lennox St and crashed into the front yard, sending bricks tumbling off and causing structural damage.
Fortunately the occupants were not at home but were forced to seek alternative accommodation.
Emergency service workers released the 34-year-old man from the back seat under a doctor’s directions.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital suffering facial laceration, a dislocated shoulder and possible spinal fractures.
A 41-year-old woman in the front passenger seat was not injured.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to shore up the building so they could reach the trapped man.
Parramatta police and Crash Investigation Unit officers started an investigation and charged Collisson with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail and ordered to front Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday when the matter was adjourned.
