Parramatta will be “riding on the horses” when Aussie rock legend Daryl Braithwaite takes to the stage for the Australia Day celebrations at Parramatta Park.
Braithwaite will appear alongside songstress Kate Ceberano and kids group Hi-5, named as the headline acts for the day.
“I’m excited to be part of the Australia Day festivities in Parramatta Park along with so many talented performers,” Braithwaite said.
“It’s humbling that these songs which mean so much to me continue to strike a chord with so many people of all ages across the country, and I’m looking forward to putting on a great show for my fans in western Sydney.”
Recently inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Braithwaite will perform some of his greatest hits including The Horses, his number one hit which continues to garner fans more than 20 years after it was first recorded.
The 15-hour marathon celebration will kick off at 6am with the hot air balloon display, culminating with the fireworks display at 9pm.
