Council elections: Where to vote in Parramatta

Confused about what ward you live in or where to vote on Saturday? Here’s all you need to know about the Parramatta Council elections.

Do you hear that? It’s the sizzle of the barbie heating up — election weekend is here.

Ahead of Saturday’s election there are a few things every voter will need to know.

Firstly, it’s obviously important to have information on all the candidates to be able to make an informed decision.

Secondly, it’s important to know where to vote.

We’ve listed every polling place for Parramatta Council on Saturday.

People can vote from 8am to 6pm on Saturday.

WHAT WARD DO I LIVE IN?

DUNDAS WARD

Dundas Ward encompasses the suburbs of Dundas, Oatlands and Telopea, and parts of the suburbs of Carlingford, Dundas Valley, Ermington, North Parramatta, Parramatta and Rydalmere.

EPPING WARD

Epping Ward encompasses the suburb of Epping, the City of Parramatta parts of the suburbs of Beecroft, Cheltenham and Eastwood, part of the suburb of Dundas Valley, and part of the City of Parramatta section of the suburb of Carlingford.

NORTH ROCKS WARD

North Rocks Ward encompasses the City of Parramatta parts of the suburbs of Baulkham Hills, North Rocks and Winston Hills, parts of the suburbs of North Parramatta and Northmead, and part of the City of Parramatta section of the suburb of Carlingford.

PARRAMATTA WARD

Parramatta Ward encompasses the suburbs of Constitution Hill and Old Toongabbie, the City of Parramatta parts of the suburbs of Pendle Hill, Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Wentworthville and Westmead, and parts of the suburbs of Ermington, North Parramatta, Northmead and Parramatta.

ROSEHILL WARD

Camellia, Clyde, Harris Park, Newington, Rosehill, Silverwater and Wentworth Point, the City of Parramatta parts of the suburbs of Auburn, Granville, Holroyd, Lidcombe, Mays Hill, Melrose Park, Merrylands and Sydney Olympic Park, and parts of the suburbs of Parramatta and Rydalmere.
