Coronavirus: 98 confirmed cases in western Sydney
The number of coronavirus cases in the Western Sydney Local Health District, which includes Westmead, Auburn, Blacktown and Mt Druitt hospitals, has been revealed.

There have been 98 people diagnosed with coronavirus in western Sydney, Health NSW data has revealed.
This included 30 in Blacktown, 25 in Parramatta, 24 in Cumberland and 24 in the Hills council areas.
Since Tuesday, an extra 16 cases have been recorded.
Western Sydney Health District figures show there were 9336 tests carried out in the region and 1.05 per cent of those were positive.
That equates to 9.3 cases for 100,000 residents and 886.24 tests were carried out for 100,000 residents.
The data, which was updated on March 25 at 8pm, showed that in Blacktown, Cumberland and Parramatta council areas, there were between one and four COVID-19 cases that were locally acquired from an unknown source of infection.
The Western Sydney Health District takes in Westmead, Auburn, Blacktown and Mt Druitt hospitals.
Across NSW, there are 1219 confirmed cases and 74,006 have recorded negative results after being tested.
Seven people have died from the pandemic.
The South East Sydney Local Health District recorded the highest number of cases of coronavirus in NSW, with 319 people testing positive.
The region takes in St George, Sutherland Shire, Bayside and Randwick.
The second highest was 247 in Sydney’s northern suburbs.
Across NSW, men aged between 40 and 49 made up the most common age group of COVID-19 cases, with 105 testing positive while the most common age bracket for women was those aged from 20 to 29, with 137 diagnosed.
