Iziah Utai charged after cops seize drugs, guns, cash from Toongabbie home
A rifle, more than $10,000 in cash, cocaine and fireworks were seized from a kitchen when cops investigating drug supply in greater western Sydney raided the home.

Toongabbie man Iziah Utai fronted court on Friday on firearm and drug charges after police raided his home on Thursday.
Last month, State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad detectives started an investigation into alleged drug supply in greater western Sydney.
Following inquiries, Raptor Squad officers searched a Toongabbie Rd house about 6am when they allegedly found a .22 pump action rifle inside a concealed compartment in the kitchen.
Officers also seized more than $10,000 in cash, ammunition, knuckle dusters with a flick knife attached, cocaine, mobile phones and eight fireworks. The items will undergo further forensic examination.
Mr Utai, 21, was arrested at the home and taken to Granville police station.
He was charged with nine offences including use, supply, acquire or possess defaced firearm; possess unauthorised firearm; possess ammunition without holding permit; possess or use prohibited firearm without permit; possess, supply or make explosive for unlawful purpose; supply prohibited drug, organises/conducts etc drug premises expose child and deal with property proceeds of crime.
Court documents allege he possessed 5g of cocaine.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Friday. Bail was not applied for and refused. The matter was adjourned to the same court on January 12 when a bail review will be held.
