Brace yourself, western Sydney because Cinnabon bakery is due to open at Westfield Parramatta in spring.

The level one shop is slated to start serving its signature oven-hot cinnamon rolls, coffee and baked treats from late September or early October when it opens on the concourse level next to Soul Origin.

The Parramatta shop is the first Cinnabon to open in the western suburbs following the chain that made its Sydney debut at Darling Square, Haymarket, in January.

Now the cinnamon chiefs are giving customers what they want.

“Due to popular demand, one in every five customers will ask when will there be one in the west of Sydney and almost 100 per cent of them say Parramatta,’’ a Cinnabon spokesman said.

“Parramatta is also largest hub outside of Sydney CBD and it only makes sense to open the next Cinnabon here.’’

Diners are in for a treat with the Parramatta eatery to be larger than the Darling Square store and will have an extra cashier to speed up service.

“Similar to the Darling Square store, in addition to the freshest classic, pecan caramel and chocolate cinnamon scrolls, you can also expect roll on the go, cinnachips and other limited time offer drinks,’’ the spokesman said.

The Parramatta bakery will have a small seating area.

“This is the largest store in NSW and has a small seating area with a feature wall designed for digital influencers to capture the best of what Cinnabon has to offer,’’ the spokesman said.

Cinnabon opened in Washington in 1985.

The western Sydney opening is bound to draw a zealous throng like in January when a cinnamon-obsessed man forked out more than $150 to secure himself seven pastries and avoid an hours-long queue when the Darling Square shop opened.

Personal trainer Josh R, 32, posted an ad on Airtasker and offered $110 plus the price of the buns for someone to wait in line.

Fortunately for the 32-year-old, Sydney man Yen-Tin Liu took up the task and waited just under two hours with about 200 other hungry souls in the line.

Since its debut in the US almost 40 years ago, Cinnabon has opened 1200 bakeries in 48 countries with seven shops in Victoria and Queensland.
