CCTV released after armed man robs North Parramatta Convenience Store

Police have released CCTV footage after an armed robber brandishing a pistol threatened a corner store owner and stole cash from the western Sydney business. Watch the video.

Police have released CCTV vision as they appeal for information after an armed robbery at a North Parramatta corner shop last month.

Police were called to the North Parramatta Convenience Store at Brickfield St on Sunday, January 12, about 11.15am following reports of an armed robbery.

Parramatta police were told an unknown man had entered the store and threatened a staff member with a pistol before leaving the scene with $200 cash.

No injuries were reported.

A crime scene was established, and police immediately began an investigation into the incident.

As investigations continue, police are hoping to speak to a man who may be able to assist officers with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of caucasian appearance, with a medium build and a short beard. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket, black sunglasses, a black shirt, a silver necklace and dark blue jeans.
