CCTV vision has been released of a van and three men running through a street following an armed home invasion in Carlingford that left four people injured.
About 11pm on January 23, officers responded to a reports of a break-in at a home on Tomah St.
Police were told that three masked men, armed with firearms and knives, forcibly entered the home and restrained the four occupants before ransacking the house and leaving with stolen cash and property.
The men ran to a white van after one of the victims managed to free themselves and confront the offenders.
Four of the occupants were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.
Detectives launched Strike Force Institutes to investigate the attack and have released surveillance footage of the white van and three men who may have information that could help.
The first man is described as caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall, solid build, wearing all dark clothing and dark balaclava.
The second man is described as African in appearance, about 180cm tall, slim build, wearing all dark clothing and dark balaclava.
The third man is described only as Middle Eastern in appearance.
