Auburn: Police appeal after motorcyclist injured in hit and run at Chisholm and Chiswick roads

Police are appealing for help after a hit and run involving a motorcycle and station wagon in Auburn.

A motorcyclist remains in a serious condition following a hit and run in Sydney’s west.

About 3pm on Wednesday, emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Chisholm and Chiswick roads in Auburn.

NSW Ambulance treated a 28-year-old motorcycle rider at the scene and he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command established a crime scene before Crash Investigation Unit officers attended.

Police have been told that a green Toyota Camry station wagon driven by an elderly male failed to stop after the crash.

Initial reports indicate the man drove northbound along Chisholm Rd and his vehicle may have minor rear end damage.
