The state’s fair trading watchdog has urged the public not to deal with a wedding photography company, which promises to capture the “breathtaking essence of your love story”.

NSW Fair Trading Commissioner Natasha Mann on Friday warned consumers to avoid Emily J Andres, who trades as Andres and Co, revealing the watchdog had received 68 complaints about her services since October last year.

In a statement, NSW Fair Trading said the company offered wedding photography and videography services across NSW.

“Consumers complain that services paid for are not supplied in the time specified or within a reasonable time, or that they are only partially supplied,” the statement said.

According to the Andres and Co website, couples receive sneak peek photos within seven to 10 days, and all final photos will be delivered within four to six weeks of the wedding date, regardless of the chosen wedding package.

Couples are also said to receive a 45-minute pre-wedding photoshoot in Sydney and five years of access to a private online gallery of their wedding day.

The Sydney-based company claims on its website and social media accounts to have won and been nominated for awards in recent years.

According to its website, the company aims to “bring to life a harmonious blend of natural, spontaneous, and crafted, artful imagery in your wedding photos”.

“As the day unfolds, we capture the energy and raw emotions of your loved ones, ensuring every memory is preserved for eternity,” the website states.

Anyone dissatisfied with Ms Andres’ service is encouraged to file a complaint at on the Fair Trading NSW website, any Service NSW centre, or by calling 13 32 20.

The company has been contacted for comment.
