Upper Corindi man charged over domestic violence charges, cultivating cannabis plants

A man accused of growing nearly 40 marijuana plants out of his home in the state’s north has also been charged with domestic violence-related charges.
On Monday, police searched a property in Upper Corindi as part of inquiries into alleged drug cultivation.
Police located 4.8kg of dried cannabis and 37 cannabis plants at a home on Sherwood Creek Rd.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged at Woolgoolga Police Station.
He will face Parramatta Bail Court on Wednesday charged with cultivating a prohibited plant, possessing a prohibited drug, and supplying between an indictable and commercial quantity of cannabis.
He was also charged with domestic violence-related offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, stalk/intimidate intending to cause fear of physical harm, and destroying or damaging property.
