Gladesville fighters show their class at Yokkao 39-40
Three of Gladesville’s top Muay Thai fighters have shown off their talents to a global audience at Sydney’s biggest ever Muay Thai event.

The biggest professional Muay Thai show in the city’s history descended upon Sydney on Saturday as Yokkao 39-40 rocked Alexandria Technology Park.
The world-class card featured a host of local and international fighters with bouts livestreamed via Yokkao’s social media channels to more than 50,000 people from all across North America, Europe and Asia.
Among the fighters were three of PTJ Muay Thai Gladesville’s top talents: Singpayak, Palungchok and James Alleyne.
Each of Gladesville’s representatives put together strong performances to come away with two wins and a draw.
Alleyne and Singpayak earned points victories over Daniel Marshall and Lloyd Dean respectively, while Palungchok battled to a hard-fought draw with Penrith local Rhyse Saliba.

Yokkao 39-40 organiser Luis Regis said the Gladesville trio did well to live up to the hype of the event.
“Yokkao is a worldwide brand so it was a big deal for us to be able to host a Yokkao event here in Sydney,” Regis said.
“The Gladesville fighters all did really well. They all had really tough opponents and were able to come away with two wins and a draw (plus) the worldwide exposure of the event.”
