POLICE investigating a fatal pedestrian crash at Eastwood would like to talk to two boys who may have seen crucial moments leading up to the crash.

Police have released dashcam footage of the moments leading up to the crash at the intersection of Rutledge Street and East Parade on Saturday April 7 at about 2.40pm.

A 61-year-old woman was hit by a car and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where she later died.

The driver has been helping police with the investigation.

Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit have released dashcam footage which shows two boys crossing the intersection shortly before the crash.

Police say the boys are not believed to be involved in the crash, and could help the investigation.

Police have asked anyone who knows the boys to come forward.
