NEIGHBOURS of the Gladesville Shopping Village can finally see the latest redevelopment proposal, and have their questions answered, over the next seven days.

The plans, which include Coles on the northern side of Victoria Rd, were expected to be released to the public this week.

Neighbours will be looking closely at the proposal.

In 2016, GSV Developments proposed redeveloping the Flagstaff St centre for shops and unit buildings of up to 16 storeys.

Residents and government criticism however forced the developer to rethink.

Residents will also have a chance to discuss the plans with Hunters Hill council officials.

The council is hosting an information session on Tuesday next week to help residents understand the plans.

Gladesville resident Russell Young urged people to take an interest.

“There is no point complaining about a building later on,” he said.

The information session at the council’s offices will start at 6.30pm.

Residents will be able to send their feedback on the plans for consideration.

They will have until March 20 to email their comments to council@huntershill.nsw.gov.au.

State government-appointed decision-makers will consider this feedback before deciding whether to progress the planning proposal.

A GSV representative did not respond to requests for comment.
