St Ives, Torokina Ave: Man dies while trimming tree in front yard
A man has died while trimming a tree in a St Ives front yard. Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene with the ladder and his tree trimmers still in place when they arrived.

A man has died while trimming a tree at a property in St Ives.
An ambulance spokesman said the man was on a ladder when it is understood he suffered a medical episode.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics were called to the Torokina Ave property around 11.45am.
The property has now been cordoned off with police at the scene.
Neighbours reported hearing ambulances as paramedics arrived at the scene.
One nearby homeowner, who asked not be named, said she had seen a
gardener regularly visit the home but was unware of who owned the
single storey property.
Police remained at the scene as of 3.15pm with the home cordoned off as
officers took photographs.
A Police spokeswoman said a report would be prepared for the coroner
