A DIFFICULT week ended on a high note for football and cricket star Ellyse Perry.
The 22-year-old from West Pymble decided to play for Sydney FC in Saturday's W-League football semi-final against Brisbane Roar after a scheduling clash with the NSW Breakers' match against Western Fury in the women's T20 cricket final.
With Perry in the starting line-up, Sydney FC earned a place in the final with a come-from-behind 3-2 victory.
Perry's Sky Blues will play the winner of Sunday's semi-final between Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory.
The Breakers defeated Western Fury 5-130 to 5-126 in the T20 final in Perth to became the first team to win both the women's 50-over and T20 titles.
