Revealed: the sex lives of north shore mums

A CEMETERY in Crows Nest, the bonnet of a car in Roseville Public School and Killara Golf Course, these are just a few of the places north shore mums have admitted to having sex.

A recent survey conducted by community website North Shore Mums delved into the subject of sex after children.

Over 800 people completed the survey, answering questions from how often they have sex to stories about their carnal adventures.

The results of the survey showed that 79 per cent of north shore parents are having less sex since having children, with less than 20 per cent doing it more than once a week.

According to the respondents foreplay is one of the main things that is sacrificed post children, with just six per cent answering that they engage in foreplay for longer than 15 minutes.

Perhaps the juiciest element of the responses however was the sexual confessions given by the participants, including the most adventurous places they have had sex.

Some of the locations the mothers admitted to having sex include, St Thomas’ Rest cemetery in Crows Nest, on the bonnet of a brand new Toyota MR2 in the grounds of Roseville Public School, Cammeray Golf Course, the balcony of unit in Artarmon and the boardroom table at the law firm one respondent worked at.

The confessions didn’t stop at locations however, as the participants also delved into their darkest bedroom secrets.

These included having an active affair, threesomes, an orgy with a group of old ladies and thinking about her ex when having sex with her partner.

A few of the mothers also included their most horrific stories of being caught by their children.

“My daughter walked in and stood there and then asked why is mummy’s head down there going up and down (while she is doing the movements with her head) … I wanted the ground to swallow me up.”

“We never heard the child come in the room I just suddenly felt her in the bed next to us! I’m not sure exactly what she heard or saw, but it put us off sex for a while.”

Some of the other interesting facts to come from the survey included that 26 per cent of couples had been sprung by their children, 57 per cent have had sex with their baby in the room and 75 per cent don’t lock the door when getting intimate.
