Mosman residents have another reason to shop along Military Rd with the opening of Camilla and Marc

DESIGNERS Camilla Freeman Topper and Marc Freeman return to their roots with the opening of a boutique in Mosman in Sydney’s north.

AUSTRALIAN fashion label Camilla and Marc will throw open the doors to its Mosman boutique on Saturday, in what will be a homecoming of sorts for brother and sister team, Camilla Freeman Topper and Marc Freeman.

“(We’re) really coming back to our roots of growing up on the north shore, supporting our customers with a unique product offering close to home,” Mr Freeman said.

“We’ve kept our eye on Mosman for a number of years. When we found this place, we immediately jumped on it.”

While it is the brand’s fourth retail store it is the first in Sydney to be located outside the eastern suburbs.

The 595 Military Rd site will boast some unique touches.

“This is the first store where we’re going to have a dedicated denim area and a dedicated footwear nook,” Mr Freeman said.

“We’ve designed an exclusive trench coat for the launch, which is only available in this Mosman store.”

Mosman Chamber of Commerce president Pat Purcell said it was further proof of the strength of the local retail sector.

“We’re delighted to have them join our wonderful retail precinct,” she said.

“It emphasises that Mosman is still a sought-after location for high-quality retailers.”

With just weeks until Christmas, the Chamber was encouraging residents to shop locally.

“You can find everything for Christmas in Mosman,” Ms Purcell said.
