Duo Matt Price and Jess Dunbar in X Factor Australia Top 3

AFTER performing a song requested by their fans, X Factor duo Matt and Jess have been voted through to the show’s grand final.

X FACTOR’s Matt Price and girlfriend Jess Dunbar are living the dream. The duo are in the grand final of the Seven Network’s talent show, X Factor Australia.

On Monday night’s show, the loved-up couple rocked out to I Was Made For Loving You by Kiss and followed it up with Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now.

“We can’t believe what has just happened,” the pair said. “This is the best thing that has ever happened to us.”

The pair have proved their versatility by performing power ballads and upbeat pop songs.

Fans threw their support to the pair on social media, texting in their votes in a bid to help make them the first group to win the show.

“I’m broke. I need ­Vodafone to up my credit,” one fan said after voting for the pair too many times.

“We were in the bottom two twice and thought our time was over a few weeks ago,” Price said.

“To be right here at the end is the ultimate goal for us.”

Stevie Nicks dedicated a song to the duo at a concert in Sydney recently.

Their success follows on from Stevie Nicks dedicating her performance of Landslide to the pair at a Sydney show recently.

Price and Dunbar face a busy schedule this week, including a trip to the studio to record their version of the “winner’s single” and rehearsals for the final.

In next Monday’s grand final, they are up against South Australia’s Louise Adams and Cyrus Villanueva from Wollongong.
