A STUNNING waterfront home in Lavender Bay on Sydney’s lower north shore is poised to smash the suburb record by a whopping $7 million.

THE latest in a string of recent top end offerings on the lower north shore is an $18 million absolute waterfront home in Lavender Bay, which is poised to smash the suburb record by a whopping $7 million.
Offered for the first time in 27 years, the four-bedroom home at 23b Bay View St is offers uninterrupted Harbour Bridge vistas and is one of just two absolute waterfront Torrens title properties with marinas.
Spread over three levels, the home includes a waterfront swimming pool, home cinema, and several outdoor terraces along with lockup parking at street level, which can accommodate up to four cars.
According to CoreLogic RP Data records, the owners paid $3 million for the home back in September 1996.
The suburb record currently stands at $11 million, set in March 2008 by a five-bedroom home at number 9 Bay View St.
Sydney Sotheby’s agent Michael Pallier has the listing.
Despite being a small and tightly held pocket, it is not the first high-profile listing for Lavender Bay in recent months.
In February, REA Group chairman Hamish McLennan his wife Lucinda snapped up the former King George St home of tech tycoon Daniel Petre and his wife Carolyn — Victorian manor house Alta Mura — for a reported $7.4 million.
