IT’S THE coffee-table book every dog-lover in Mosman will need to flick through.
Canine and children’s photographer Suzanne Stevenson has celebrated the friendliest and furriest faces from around town by publishing the images of her four-legged clientele in her first book, Tails of Mosman.
The self-proclaimed “dog obsessed” photo-specialist said she decided to share the tail-waggiest characters of the region after she noticed how much residents truly loved their canine friends.
“I didn’t actually realise how many people would want their pets photographed until I started photographing and uploading pictures of my friend’s dogs on Instagram,” she said.
“Each dog has its own personality and that’s what I love about them.”
Ms Stevenson, who has had an “affinity for dogs” from an early age, said Tails of Mosman was made up of images of well-known paw-fect pooches from the Mosman area.
“I’ve had a wide range of different personalities and hairdos come in, and I’ve even had owners go to great lengths and book in a photo shoot for their dog as a birthday present,” she said.
Ms Stevenson said the second edition of Tails of Mosman would be unveiled in 2018, and added a percentage of the proceeds of the book would be donated to the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, a not-for-profit pound in Sydney, in NSW.
