Amici, Cammeray

Real traditional Italian food doesn’t get much better than this. It’s hard to beat wood-fired pizza created with Napoli flair and a glass of red in this great spot. If you have room order the affogato al caffe.

Blues Point Gourmet Pizza, Milsons Point

A firm favourite with locals. The vegetarian calzone oozes with melted ricotta, cherry tomatoes and Spanish onions. Half and half pizzas are another tasty speciality.

Bravo Trattoria, Crows Nest

This place has a reputation for the best ice cream in the lower north shore and its pizzas also shine. The woodfire oven pumps out pizzas all day with highlights including the margherita, diavola and napoli.

Vegan pizza is a speciality at Crust.

Ciao Ciao, Crows Nest

Before you go straight for the Nutella pizza, make sure to check out the main menu in this casual eatery. Ciao Ciao takes a global approach and has Hawaiian, Mexican and Italian options.

Crust, Neutral Bay

Vegans have plenty at options in this popular Crust outlet. Pesto pear with balsamic fig or sweet peppered pineapple are among several vegan friendly choices.

Fourth Village, Mosman

A sign of a good pizzaiolo is packed tables so this place must have one of the best. The busy Mosman spot has genuine Italian woodfired pizza and the Romeo e Giulietta is a perfect pick from the extensive menu.

Brothers Francesco and Charlie have created a slice of Italy in the middle of Cremorne. Enjoy a Quattro formaggi scattered with ricotta, bocconcini, feta and gorgonzola.

Italian Street Kitchen, Neutral Bay

This trendy spot has a focus on creating Italian flavours with fresh local ingredients. The pizza menu is carefully chosen and highlights include the capricciosa, gustosa and primavera. Save space for the calzone alla Nutella.

Pizza Vikings, Neutral Bay

Pizza enjoys a Swedish twist thanks to this creative eatery. The Nordic goddess of forbidden loves, Lofn, gives her name to a tasty pizza with spinach feta and marinated prawns.

Rosso Cavallino, Mosman

The team at Rosso Cavallino import ingredients from Italy to create authentic flavours. Check out the specials menu for creative touches on classics. The mafia is one to watch for.
