We asked, you voted, and the results are in: The Mid-North Coast’s best hairdresser is … see who the winner is.

After wading through close to 100 nominations in our online poll for the Mid-North Coast’s best hairdresser, it came down to a race between three – and they couldn’t be split.

Congratulations to our joint winners Ami Andrews of Studio Pure Bliss, Wauchope, Jacky Piper of Jacky Piper Industries, Frederickton and Jayde Young of Wild and Silky, Old Bar.

News of the joint win made Ms Piper’s day, and confirmed her decision to go out and kick-start her own salon business.

“The last four months have been stressful, exciting and a little overwhelming and to be voted the best hair dresser on the Mid-North Coast has confirmed my decision to open my own salon was the right choice,” she said.

“I feel so blessed to have family, friends and clients supporting me and cheering me on.

“ A huge thank you to everyone that voted for me. Jacky Piper Industries is somewhere for everyone in the community to come and feel special.

Old Bar’s Wild and Silky owner, Jayde Young, was just as excited by the support her clients have shown in her.

She said doing what she does for her customers is a dream, and without them, living that dream wouldn’t be possible.

“I’m super proud of myself to hear this,” she said.

“I try and give my clients the best experience I can. I must be doing something right!

To my clients who voted … Thank you isn’t enough. I created my dream but couldn’t of done it with out all of you.”

The Mid-North Coast News has congratulated our third winner, Ms Andrews from Studio Pure Bliss, who was yet to respond to questions.
