Police extradite Nykeeta Jones, 38, and Matthew McDonald, 25, from WA after alleged NSW kidnapping, forest shooting
Two people have been extradited from WA and charged while a woman is wanted by police after a man was allegedly kidnapped and shot in a remote Mid-North Coast NSW forest.

Two people have been extradited from WA and charged while a woman is wanted by police after a man was allegedly kidnapped and shot in a remote forest on the NSW Mid-North Coast.
Mid-North Coast Police District officers responded to a concern for welfare report at Bago State Forest on Rollover Road at Bago about 7.10am on Sunday.
They found a 32-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds to his arms and legs, according to a NSW Police statement.
“Police were told the man had been allegedly kidnapped by three people from Port Macquarie and taken to Bago Forest, where he was shot,” police state.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the victim and he was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Officers set up a crime scene and specialists found bullet casings at the scene
Detectives launched Strike Force Parham to investigate the incident with the help of Western Australia Police Force.
WA police arrested Nykeeta Jones, 38, and Matthew McDonald, 25, at Barradonia, south of Kalgoorlie, on November 21.
NSW Police alleges officers searched the vehicle the pair were travelling in and found “a loaded sawn-off rifle”.
Strike force detectives attended Perth Airport about 7.30am on Monday and Jones was extradited to Mascot Police Station in NSW.
Detectives then extradited McDonald from the same airport to the police station on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, NSW Police have appealed for help from the public to find Dahkota Harris, 27, who was “wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant”. It’s understood police have linked her to the alleged shooting.
Mid North Coast Police have been “conducting inquiries into her whereabouts”.
Harris was described by police as caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall with a solid build, red/ginger hair, and hazel eyes.
She is known the frequent the Kempsey and Port Macquarie areas.
Jones has been charged with kidnapping in company with intent to cause actual bodily harm, shooting at with intent to murder, possessing a shortened firearm without authority, possessing ammunition without holding the appropriate licence and possessing an unauthorised pistol.
She was refused bail to face Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday and was refused bail again to face Port Macquarie Local Court on December 5.
McDonald has been charged with kidnapping in company with intent to commit serious indictable occasion actual bodily harm and shooting at with intent to murder.
He was refused bail to face Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.
