A Newcastle man facing serious allegations of rape against a then 14-year-old girl has pleaded guilty to posting explicit material of her to a porn site which racked up 96,000 views.

A North Lambton man facing serious sexual assault charges against a then 14-year-old girl on the Mid-North Coast has pleaded guilty to distributing material of her online after their relationship ended.
The man, who is also accused of stalking, intimidating and choking his former partner, cannot be named for legal reasons given at least one of the 10 charges against him was committed when she was under the age of 16.
The 23-year-old has entered pleas of guilty to two charges relating to threatening to distribute intimate images without consent, and intentionally distributing intimate images without consent – domestic violence related.
All matters are currently before Port Macquarie Local Court, and are set to return there in October.
Court documents state that the man and his partner where in a relationship for 12 months in which time they recorded up to eight consensual videos of them having sex.
During the relationship the victim was told by the accused that he had posted one of the photographs on the website, however the victim “dismissed it as a joke and thought nothing of it,” court documents state.
About a year ago when the victim and the accused ended their relationship, the accused told her that he was planning to send the videos to the victim’s mother.
He also threatened to come to the victim’s house and assault her.
“On 6 October 2020, a friend of the victim’s mother contacted her and told her there were intimate videos of her daughter online,” court documents state.
“The victim went on the link and found two videos on the page. The website was pornhub.com, a popular pornography website.“
The facts state the victim “immediately recognised herself on the thumbnail” of one of the videos, and recalled the moment it was filmed. She was too distraught to click on the link and view the videos, which had racked up over 96,569 views.
The court documents state the Pornhub profile’s city was was listed as Newcastle and the country Australia.
“The videos clearly show the victim participating in sexual intercourse with an unidentified male,” court documents state.
“The last time the account was accessed coincides with the time the victim broke up with the accused.”
The man had been ordered to adhere to strict bail conditions, but revoked them twice after coming within 100 metres of the defendant who was shopping and working at a Mid-North Coast supermarket.
The man is facing 10 charges against the teenager, now aged 19, including stalk/intimidate intend fear or physical or mental etc, aggravated sexual assault, common assault domestic violence related, sexual intercourse without consent, intentionally choke etc person without consent and contravening prohibition order or restriction in apprehended domestic violence order.
The matters will return to Port Macquarie Local Court on October 9.
