A 24-year-old man was refused bail in court today after police found an “indictable quantity” of heroin at an address in Taree.

It’s the result of a search warrant being carried out at the Dunoon Street home last night.

The Manning-Great Lakes Police District has confirmed the warrant was carried out after information was received from the community.

The man will reappear in court, for charges related to drug possession and supply, in Taree next month.
