Tyson Dellosta: Mona Vale man facing Neutral Bay stab charge in Manly Local Court

A northern beaches’ man allegedly involved in a savage stabbing attack that left a man with multiple wounds to his head and neck appeared in Manly Local Court on Tuesday.
Tyson Dellosta, 24, of Mona Vale, and another man, allegedly confronted the alleged victim at Neutral Bay on Sunday afternoon.
Police will allege that Mr Dellosta punched a man, 25, a number of times in the face and head, before going on to repeatedly stab him in the head, neck, back and chest in Park Ave at about 4.15pm.
Mr Dellosta, and his male companion, then ran to a white Mazda and drove away, police alleged.
The alleged victim, who had been walking with man, 39, was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital for emergency surgery.
The 39-year-old man was not injured.
Mr Dellosta is facing one count of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was arrested on Monday morning in Darley St East, at Mona Vale, by detectives from the North Shore Police Area Command.
Police searched a nearby home unit where a number of items were seized, including a white Mazda.
In Manly Local Court, Legal Aid solicitor Fiona Hadlington said Mr Dellosta, who did not appear in court, was not applying for bail.
It was formally refused by Magistrate Bruce Williams who ordered that a brief of evidence be served on Mr Dellosta.
The matter was adjourned to Manly Local Court on April 29 where Mr Dellosta will appear via audio-video link.
Police said investigations to identify and locate the second man were continuing.
