SINGER Tim Conlon hopes to swap gigging at Manly pubs for music stardom after performing on reality show The Voice.
The 23 year-old from Frenchs Forest wowed judge Delta Goodrem and even presented her with a rose on last night’s episode of the Channel 9 show.
Despite judge Seal also turning his chair during the show’s ‘blind’ auditions, Mr Conlon chose Goodrem as his celebrity mentor.
He performed Ed Sheeran song, Castle on the Hill and will now progress to the next round.

“All the coaches are amazing. I would have been happy with any coach but the thing with Delta is she’s a great a songwriter and a great role model,” he said.
The former student of St Augustines in Brookvale, where his mum is a teacher, described on the show how he gave up rugby for music.
Mr Conlon, who has four sisters, now works full time gigging, with his beaches venues including Manly Wine and the Ivanhoe, as well as weddings.
“I put rugby first when I was younger and towards the end of school I started gigging more and it started to clash with rugby
“If you want to be amazing at something you have to focus on one thing,” he said
“I want to be able to write music people can relate to.”
