Lara Ahola’s two days of punishment all started at 8.30 on Friday evening and finished on Sunday afternoon at 3-30pm.

Over that period the 32-year-old northern beaches mother of three boys pushed herself to the limit by participating in seven martial arts fights, winning them all.

And in between she also attended the 70th birthday party for her father on Saturday night.

“It was a pretty insane weekend,” Ahola said yesterday.

“I think I am still in shock and I’m going to wake up and that I dreamt it.

“I am so tired and my legs are a bit sore and I’m a bit stiff in the neck.

“But at the end of the day it is probably no worse than the weeks of training I have been having leading up to it.”

Ahola quite literally kicked things off at the War On The North Shore at North Sydney Leagues Club where she had two fights in a four woman Muay Thai contest.

On Sunday she backed up in a World Amateur Kickboxing Organisation in Auburn where she had two kickboxing fights.

She then stepped back into the ring for a Nogi Jiu Jitsu bout.

“There was no one in my weight division so I fought a 70kg girl and I am 58kg,” Ahola said.

That was followed by two MMA fights which she also won.

And adding to the achievement, Sunday was also the first Ahola had ever had a Jui-Jistu or MMA fight.

Ahola’s trainer Nick Stone from Balgowlah’s Bulldog Gym described what she did as a supreme effort and showed what people can do when they put their mind to it.
