Reverend Fred Nile has submitted plans to bulldoze a northern beaches home to make way for his dream mansion.
The longtime leader of the Christian Democratic Party has asked for permission to construct a new home on Courtley Rd, Beacon Hill, at a cost of close to $1 million.
The two-storey property will feature five bedrooms, four with ensuites and even a powder room.
Rev Nile, who is 84 years old, is married to fellow politician Silvana Nero, who is 23 years his junior.
The plans, submitted to Northern Beaches Council, reveal there will be a portico entry with foyer, formal dining room, living area and an open plan kitchen and family area.
Also on ground level will be a study, guest bedroom with ensuite, a pantry, storage room and garden terrace.
Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are the other four bedrooms, three with ensuite, a linen cupboard and gallery.
The reverend will also be able to enjoy the surrounds from a balcony off the master bedroom. Works outside are also proposed including landscaped retaining walls, alterations to the front fence and a replacement driveway and path.
Rev Nile bought the current property, which will be bulldozed, back in 2013 for $1.195m.
Set on 556m2 of land it features ocean and city views.
The plans will be decided at Northern Beaches Planning Panel on Wednesday.
