A teenage boy suffered multiple serious injuries when he fell about 10m onto rocks at Queenscliff Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
The boy, 14, was treated by emergency services personnel on the reserve behind the beach after he was rescued from the rocks.
Multiple ambulances, and a medical helicopter, were called out just before 3pm.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the boy was treated by paramedics for a number of injuries.
“He suffered head, facial, chest and limb injuries,” the spokesperson said.
“The patient was taken by ambulance to the Sydney Childrens Hospital at Randwick in a serious condition.”
