Police pursue stolen car through Manly following break and enter in Chester Hill
A police pursuit has ended after officers decided to stop the chase during peak-hour in Sydney’s north yesterday afternoon. Dramatic footage shows the stolen Merc weave in and out of traffic, dodging pedestrians. The car was found today.

A police pursuit has ended after officers decided to stop the chase during peak-hour in Sydney’s north.
This morning, police recovered the stolen white Mercedes-Benz, used in the chase. The unoccupied car was found on Hickson Road, Barrangaroo. It has been seized for forensic examination.
Dramatic footage shows the car weave in and out of traffic, dodging pedestrians.
At 4.40pm police were informed the sedan was parked outside Campbell Pde, Manly Vale, with the occupants unloading property.
Checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen during a break and enter in Chester Hill yesterday.
When police arrived the vehicle took off and with the assistance of POLAIR, police on the ground monitored the vehicle through Manly.
Eyewitnesses reported the car crashed near to the Spit Bridge before continuing west into Mosman.
It is said 11 police cars were in pursuit as the Mercedes used bus lanes to avoid traffic.
Police terminated the pursuit safety reasons when the stolen vehicle passed through Cowles Rd, Cremorne.
Police are continuing with their inquiries to locate the car.
