Pittwater: Boys hurt in boat crash near Longnose Point
An afternoon fishing trip turned to terror for two boys after boats collided on the northern beaches.

Two boys were badly injured and thrown into the water after two boats collided on the northern beaches.
One boy, 14, suffered a deep cut to his chest after the collision on Pittwater at about 4pm on Sunday.
An 11-year-old boy was treated for abrasions to his hip. A man on the boat was examined by paramedics.
An NSW Ambulance spokesman said both boys were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital after being plucked from the water just north of Longnose Point, on the western side of Pittwater.
The boys were treated onshore before being driven to hospital.
NSW Police Marine Area Command are now investigating the crash.
A spokesman said they were told that a boat carrying two men, aged 42 and 26, was travelling in a southerly direction when it allegedly crashed into the boat containing the boys
That boat, with a man 44, and the two boys was drifting while the trio were fishing.
The occupants of both boats were thrown into the water.
Marine Area Command officers are appealing for anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
