Meanwhile, Daniel San, which is a popular restaurant and bar, also had a notice on its door.

This week other venues have moved fast to comply with the government’s new announcements around patron numbers.

Hotel Steyne has moved tables apart and is accepting card only payments at most of its bars.

The travel agency, popular with backpackers and budget travellers, said it had shut due to the coronavirus emergency, and was directing clients to its outlet on George St in the city.

Meanwhile, Australia Post Office at Freshwater has been closed this week due to the owner suffering an illness.

An Australia Post spokesman confirmed the illness is not related to COVID-19.

“Customers can attend Manly Post Office for any needs,” the spokesman said today.
